About Ziyanda Tshangana

Her journey began in her childhood years, where she discovered her love for music in Sunday School and later served faithfully in various worship teams across different churches. These early foundations shaped not only her vocal talent but also her deep and authentic connection to worship.

As she grew older, Ziyanda entered national singing competitions, sharpening her gift and gaining experience that would later prove invaluable. Her rise into the public eye took an unexpected but beautiful turn when simple videos of her singing at home — often filmed on her well-known red couches — began circulating on Facebook and YouTube, drawing widespread attention and admiration.

Her Professional Music Journey started in :-

•2020: Released her debut single, “Mkhos’onomandla”, marking the official start of her solo career. •2021: She led “Angingedwa” in Indumiso YeTende , which won Best Itende Song at the SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards, where she also delivered a live performance. •2022: Followed up with spiritual single “Sinomhlobo onguJesu”. •2023: Featured on Zanele Mashabane’s album Ngine Cule, contributing her vocal gift to the project •2024: Hosted her first sold-out live recording concert at the East London Guild Theatre—a major milestone in her budding solo ministry. •October 2024: Released two singles from album Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God, Released Sibong’ igama Lakho and Ulihlathi Lethu Thixo both topped the charts and continue to make rounds. •March 28, 2025: Released her debut full-length album, Seek Ye First The Kingdom of God, featuring collaborations with gospel artists such as PutumaTiso, Sindi Ntombela, and Betusile Mcinga.  

  •May 16, 2025, Featured in EBMQ group Mangath’ akekhosingle •Nominated in Women in Gospel Awards for Best Female Artist and Best Worship Song. •Latest recording took place on 11 October 2025 at Calvary Church, East London this time featuring EBMQ and several local artists. This project is expected to be released in early 2026. •Further recognized with two major nominations at Crown Gospel Music Awards 2025 - Best Female Artist and Best Worship Song for “Ulihlathi Lethu Thixo”
